Article 1
Name, registered office and duration
1. The non-profit association, adopting the name BRAIN & MIND-ASSOCIATION for the DEVELOPMENT of RESEARCH in MENTAL health, and is headquartered at Rua s. Teotónio, 1901-P Lot, parish of Santo António dos Olivais, municipality of Coimbra and is constituted for an indefinite period.
2. The Association has the number 508 955 653.
Article 2
Order
The Association aims:
the) Promoting mental health in the general population with particular attention to vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly;
(b)) Promote research of excellence and technological innovation in the area of mental health in a translational perspective between basic research and clinical practice;
(c)) Promote training pre and post graduated in the field of mental health by organizing and conducting courses and scientific events of regional, national and international levels;
(d)) Establish intersectoral collaboration partnerships with public and private bodies and institutions, both national and international, in several areas of knowledge, including professional exchange, in order to allow for an integrated and multidimensional approach of mental health;
Article 3
Recipes
Revenues of the Association are, in particular:
the) initial jewelry paid by members;
(b)) the product of the contributions laid down by the General Assembly;
(c)) income from assets of the Association and social activities revenue;
(d)) the donations accepted by the Association;
and) the allowances to be allocated.
Article 4
Organs
1. Organs of the Association are the General Assembly, the Board and the Audit Committee.
2. The mandate of the holders of the governing bodies is 3 years.
Article 5
General Assembly
1. The General Assembly consists of all members in the full enjoyment of their rights.
2. The competence of the General Assembly and the way of its functioning are those set out in the Civil Code, namely article 170, and articles 172 to 179.
3. The Board of the general meeting is composed of three members, a President and two Secretaries, racing them direct the meetings of the Assembly and plough their minutes.
Article 6
Direction
1. The direction, elected in the General Assembly, is composed of 3 members: a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer.
2. The direction for social, administrative and financial management of the Association, and to represent the Association in and out of it.
3. The shape of its functioning is established in article 171 of the Civil Code.
4. The Association undertakes with the intervention of two Board members, one of them being the President.
Article 7
Supervisory Board
1. The fiscal Council, elected in the General Assembly, is composed of 3 members: a President, a Secretary and a vowel.
2. The Supervisory Board to supervise the administrative acts shall be responsible and financial direction, monitor your accounts and reports, and give an opinion on the acts involving increased expenditure or reducing revenue.
3. The shape of its functioning is established in article 171 of the Civil Code.
Article 8
Admission and exclusion
The conditions for the admission and exclusion of members, their categories, rights and obligations, in regulation to be approved by the General Assembly.
Article 9
Extinction. Destination of the goods.
The Association, the destination of goods who integrate the social heritage, which are not affected in order given and which have not been donated or left with some charge, will be subject to deliberation of the associates.
